Meet the Player!

Hey everybody! My name is Darcy... obviously, and My goal is to loose 30-40 pounds by the end of the year. I don't have a set goal mainly because I fully believe you go until your happy, not until your scale says you have lost enough. For that reason I have not, or do I plan to, step on a scale. My only scales are better fitting clothes and the looks I get from people when I step into their lives, for the first time in a while, a completely different person!

How about a little diet introduction. I guess I should state that I have already started dieting 11 days ago using the South Beach Diet method. With Phase 1 of the diet almost finished I have actually found myself craving, not junk, but food the diet actually allows! But the kicker here is after an extremely painful dentist appointment yesterday, all I wanted to eat was a bowl of noodles with butter, YIKES!! so what... I spoiled it, Now all I am thinking about is phase 2 and eating those ever amazing carbs again... but quite frankly, I'm scared. I don't know if I can stop once i start, so this is where you guys, my readers, come in. even if I only reach one person, I hope that person is going to be cheering for me. If I fail I am going to feel like I let down my loyal reader/s and that is worse than any craving for a big sweet iced long john doughnut. SO let us begin the journey for a new skinny Darcy! starting today until... well... I'm happy, I will be sharing all about my ups, down, and cravings. I will happily share my compliments, which i found get me through the day and out of the fridge, and I will also share my put downs, only to vent of course. And I promise this will not be a dry boring reading experience, today is just a bit of an off day for me so excuse the lameness!
